1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp oil
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp taco seasoning
½ cup water
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup cooked rice
1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
½ cup refried or black beans (optional)
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 tomato, diced
¼ cup red onion, chopped
¼ cup sour cream or guacamole
Fresh cilantro, jalapeños, lime wedges (optional)
In a skillet, heat oil and sauté onion for 2–3 minutes. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Add ground beef. Cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
Warm tortillas. Layer rice, beef, cheese, beans, and toppings in center.
Fold sides in and roll burrito tightly.
Toast in a dry skillet if desired. Serve warm with salsa or sauce.
