Juicy spiced chicken kofta paired with creamy garlic yogurt sauce. A 30-minute Mediterranean meal perfect for wraps, rice bowls, or mezze platters.

Ingredients

For the Kofta:
1 lb ground chicken
1 small onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp coriander
½ tsp paprika
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
¾ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Olive oil, for cooking

For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce:
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tbsp lemon juice
Pinch of salt
Drizzle of olive oil

Instructions

  • Combine all kofta ingredients in a bowl. Mix until just combined.

  • Shape into 10–12 small patties or ovals.

  • Heat oil in skillet and cook kofta for 4–5 min per side until golden and cooked through.

  • For baked version, roast at 400°F for 20–22 min, flipping halfway.

  • Mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and oil in a bowl. Chill until serving.

  • Serve kofta warm with yogurt sauce and your favorite sides.

Notes

Use ground turkey if preferred. Grill or bake for lighter versions. Make ahead and freeze for easy meals.
