Juicy spiced chicken kofta paired with creamy garlic yogurt sauce. A 30-minute Mediterranean meal perfect for wraps, rice bowls, or mezze platters.
For the Kofta:
1 lb ground chicken
1 small onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, minced
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp coriander
½ tsp paprika
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
¾ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Olive oil, for cooking
For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce:
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 garlic clove, grated
1 tbsp lemon juice
Pinch of salt
Drizzle of olive oil
Combine all kofta ingredients in a bowl. Mix until just combined.
Shape into 10–12 small patties or ovals.
Heat oil in skillet and cook kofta for 4–5 min per side until golden and cooked through.
For baked version, roast at 400°F for 20–22 min, flipping halfway.
Mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and oil in a bowl. Chill until serving.
Serve kofta warm with yogurt sauce and your favorite sides.
Use ground turkey if preferred. Grill or bake for lighter versions. Make ahead and freeze for easy meals.
