Golden seared chicken breasts in a luscious garlic cream sauce — rich, savory, and made in one skillet for an easy, elegant dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts (halved horizontally)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter, divided

  • 6 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  • Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in skillet. Sear chicken 3–4 min per side. Remove and set aside.

  • Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 1–2 min.

  • Deglaze with broth, then stir in cream. Simmer gently.

  • Add parmesan. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.

  • Return chicken to pan. Simmer 2–3 more minutes.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Add spinach, mushrooms, or herbs for variations.
Keep heat low once cream is added to prevent curdling.
