Crispy, bite-sized churros made with light dough and air fried for a healthier twist. Tossed in cinnamon sugar for a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

Dough:

  • ½ cup water

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter or coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar

  • Pinch salt

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 egg

Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  • ¼ cup coconut or cane sugar

  • 1½ tsp cinnamon

  • Olive oil spray or melted butter

Notes

For vegan, use coconut oil and applesauce. Add nutmeg or dip in chocolate for variety. Store leftovers in fridge; reheat in air fryer.
