Light and crispy churro bites made in the air fryer—perfectly coated in cinnamon sugar and made with Greek yogurt for a healthier, protein-packed treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat or all-purpose flour

  • 1½ tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Coating:

  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar or cane sugar

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • Spray oil or avocado oil

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 350°F.

  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Add yogurt and vanilla. Mix until soft dough forms.

  • Shape into 1-inch balls or logs.

  • Air fry for 8–10 mins, flipping halfway, until golden.

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon. Spray churros and coat while warm.

  • Serve with optional dips.

Notes

Use plant-based yogurt for dairy-free. Add protein powder to the dough if desired. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes.
