A sweet and savory sheet pan dinner featuring roasted sausage, tender sweet potatoes, and a sticky honey garlic glaze. Quick to prep, easy to clean up, and full of bold flavor.

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, diced

  • 1214 oz smoked sausage, sliced

  • 1 red onion, chopped (optional)

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika or red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F and line a large sheet pan.

  • Mix glaze ingredients in a bowl: honey, garlic, mustard, oil, salt, pepper, paprika.

  • Toss sweet potatoes and sausage with glaze.

  • Spread on sheet pan in a single layer.

  • Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until caramelized and tender.

  • Garnish with herbs or lemon juice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use maple syrup for a vegan version.
